Google recently confirmed that Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich, the latest update on the Android platform) will hit GSM/UMTS Nexus S units by the time the month is over. You can download/install the package at your own risk here, make sure to do a little research on installation as I myself am not an Android user. I can’t really give you that much information on it right now. Unfortunately this is not available to Sprint as well.
